Adamawa partners PharmAccess on health insurance scheme

The Adamawa government has commenced the implementation of a mandatory health insurance scheme in an effort to achieve universal coverage as well as promote quality and affordable health services in the state.
This followed an agreement in Yola, the state capital, by the Ministry of Health and PharmAccess Foundation to lead the technical development process for the statewide insurance scheme.

Bauchi Police arrest 9 for diverting relief materials

Nine people have been arrested by the Bauchi State Police Command in connection with diverting and rebaging grains meant for distribution to the various IDPs camps in the state.
The PPRO, DSP Kamal Datti Abubakar who confirmed the arrest also disclosed that 50Kg of 600 bags of millet were equally recovered from the suspects who are currently being interrogated to determine the levels of their involvement in the criminal act.
